UK house prices at highest level

New figures from Halifax reveal that the average UK house prices reached the highest recorded levels in October. Year-on-year growth was 4.5%. While the supply of properties available for sale remains low, other factors such as employment rates and still low mortgage rates provide support for house prices. Something perhaps to return some optimism to the market, especially in London?
